Who We Are
This website, dakotabeaconpublishing.com, is run by Dakota Beacon Publishing, LLC, the publisher of Beautiful Words from God. In this policy, “Dakota Beacon Publishing,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Dakota Beacon Publishing, LLC.
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, sign up for our newsletter, or send us a message, how we use and share that information, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.
Information You Give Us
We collect the information you choose to give us through the forms on our website:
- Newsletter sign-up. On our Newsletter page we ask for your first name, last name (optional), and email address. The sign-up form at the bottom of every page asks for your email address only.
- Contact form. We ask for your first name, last name (optional), email address, and your message. You can also tick a box to receive our newsletter.
Our forms are built with Gravity Forms, a WordPress plugin. What you send is stored in our website’s database, together with the date and time, the page you sent it from, and your browser type, and a copy is emailed to us so that we can reply. We have set our forms not to store your IP address.
Our website does not take payments. If you follow a link to buy the book from a store, that store’s own privacy policy applies.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described in this policy to:
- Send you our newsletter, if you signed up for it
- Reply to your messages and questions
- Run, protect, and improve our website
- Understand how visitors find and use our website
- Understand how people find us through Facebook and Instagram, and measure our advertising there
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some technical information automatically when you visit:
- Server logs. Our web host records basic details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These logs help keep our website secure and working properly.
- Cloudflare. Our website runs through Cloudflare, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. that protects it from attacks and spam and helps our pages load quickly. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details, and it may set cookies that are needed for security, for example to tell real visitors from bots. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and privacy policy for Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Website fonts. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. See Google’s Google Fonts privacy information.
- Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, described below.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our website: for example, which pages are viewed, how long visits last, what devices and browsers are used, the general area visitors are in (such as a city or region), and how they found our site. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga) to collect this information and gives us summary reports. These reports do not tell us who you are.
To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. To stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool of Meta Platforms, Inc., the company behind Facebook and Instagram. When you visit our website, the Pixel sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view, along with technical details like your IP address and browser, and it may set a cookie (such as _fbp). If you use Facebook or Instagram, Meta may connect this information to your account.
This helps us understand how people find us through Facebook and Instagram and measure our advertising there. Depending on your Meta settings, Meta may also use it to show you ads, including ads from us. You can manage this under Ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Meta’s use of information is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to see how our website appears in Google search results. It gives us summary reports, such as the searches that led people to our site and how often our pages were shown and clicked. It does not add cookies or tracking code to our website, and its reports do not identify individual visitors.
Your Choices
- Our newsletter. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in our newsletter emails or through our Contact page.
- Your information. To ask what information we have received from you through this website, or to ask us to correct or delete it, send us a message through our Contact page.
- Cookies. Block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
- Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Facebook and Instagram ads. Change your Ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Our website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
How Long We Keep Information, and Security
We keep newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and the messages you send us for as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of our conversation. Google, Meta, and Cloudflare keep information according to their own policies and settings.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, and our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Still, no website or email is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through our forms.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through our website, please let us know through our Contact page and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we move our newsletter to Mailchimp or add new services. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.

If you have questions about this policy or your information, please send us a message through our Contact page.
